Day tours The ticket for a tour entitles the holder to the transportation, entrance fees and the services specified in the program of an official guide interpreter. Extras are not included. Children under 4 years of age are carried free (meals to be paid by the adult in charge); between 5 and 10 years of age will pay 50% of the normal price. If the number of participants falls below 7 passengers the tour operator reserves the right to use minibuses or private car.
Private tours Private tours don't include entrances and guide services inside monuments, meals or other extras. According to Portuguese law, guided services inside monuments or on any other tourist attraction can only be provided by official guide interpreters. Unless required by clients, these private tours will not have an official guide interpreter but an official guide driver (explains monuments inside the vehicle and suggests free time for visits).
Cancellation fees Day tours and private tours: up to 3 labour days before departure - 25% of total price; afterwards no refund is granted. Long and short range tours: up to 7 labour days before departure: 25% of total price; afterwards no refund is granted. In the case of No Shows on services or on tours, starting at the airport, harbour, train or bus station, hotel, etc, the total price of the reservation will be charged.
General conditions Insurance required by Portuguese Law. All tours are subject to alteration without notice. National Monuments close on public holidays and special occasions without notice. Luggage is carried at client's risk, these being advised to watch the loading and unloading of their belongings.
Complaints These will only be accepted in written once directed to the agency where the reservation and payment were done, within the limit of 15 days after the service has been rendered. In agreement with the EC directive, complaints can only be accepted after details have been communicated to the respective suppliers (hotels, guides, local agents, etc.), during the trip or stay, demanding the respective documents to confirm the incident.
